One of the country’s leading auction houses, DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard's latest auction has hit a 91 per cent sales success rate. The bumper auction which was held in September in the Radisson Blu Galway saw huge crowds attend, bid, and buy. The auction was also broadcast live online through DNGGalway.ie
The Galway city based agency is gearing up for another large November auction which will take place on Friday November 25 at 3pm in the Radisson. The pre-auction launch will be on October 20.
DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard brought a total of 23 lots to the floor, with 17 selling on the day and four selling after further negotiations. With a 91 per cent success rate, it remains one of the country’s leading auction experts. Properties ranged from across the Connacht region including Sligo, Roscommon, Mayo, Donegal, Clare, and Limerick; with key location properties up for auction in Galway city and county.
With a huge mix of properties being offered to the market, the auction room was packed with both eager buyers and onlookers who were keen to experience the whole auction vibe.
Auction days are a hive of activity and while it is all business for the DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard auction team, the auction always draws a crowd who are simply ‘in for a look’.
Auctioneer James Heaslip was, as usual, overseeing the process in his own unique energetic style and encouraged all bidders on the day for a sale on the property listed.
“Auctions are high energy and there are always a few gems within the listings," he said. "We have built up a regular following at these auctions but there are always fresh faces bidding on key properties that have come up. Right now we have a 91 per cent sales success rate and we are incredibly happy to provide this service. Already the November auction is looking very interesting and there are some key Galway based properties coming up for that.”
DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard's next auction will take place on Friday November 25 at 3pm in the Radisson Blu Hotel. The auction will be officially launched on October 20. For more information visit www.dnggalway.ie, connect through social media, or phone 091 565261.
