STRAP ON the air guitar and get ready to widdle on an imaginary fretboard and pull all kinds of rock god face and shapes at the Air Guitar Heroes event which takes place in Galway next week.
The Collective Edge arts organisation is encouraging air guitarists and air bands to strut their stuff on imaginary instruments on the stage of Monroe's Live on Wednesday October 12 at 8pm. Winners will be rewarded for their originality, creativity, enthusiasm, costume, and comedic value as well as technical ability. There will also be a prize for best costume.
A panel of comedians will be present to commentate on the action and there will be surprise performances by special guests. Admission is €5 (in fancy dress ) or €6 without. To enter email [email protected].
