Upskill for the medical device industry with Innopharma

Innopharma College of Applied Sciences' free Springboard-funded courses are designed with you in mind. Specifically designed for those who are unemployed, Innopharma courses upskill and equip people from diverse backgrounds with the knowledge and skills necessary to stand out and make an impact when searching and applying for jobs in the pharma/medical device and general manufacturing areas.

The college is now accepting applications for Level 6 pharmaceutical and medical device operations and Level 8 pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing courses, which will be commencing in Galway in October.

Successful graduates would be suitable for roles in quality, manufacturing, technicians, product design and development, regulatory affairs, validation, technology, and maintenance.

What do students think about the courses?

“I currently work as a diagnostic technologist in Abbott Diagnostics Division. I found the course to be very accommodating, friendly, and suitable for all levels. I believe this course helped me get work as I was more confident and knowledgeable on industry. The practicals involved give a person some experience working in a laboratory setting and techniques used in industry. The assignments are either in the form of what project work would be like in industry, or on very relevant up-to-date topics. I fully recommend this course to anyone wanting to pursue a career in the science industry.” — Sinead Curran.

Innopharma also offers customised short courses to pharma/medical device and food companies. Companies seeking to upskill their staff can choose from the courses currently delivered to students, or they can ask for customised courses specifically tailored to address a specific skill requirement for staff.
