Rock'n'roll, rockabilly, and shakin' like Elvis singing 'Hound Dog' is the order of the day when The Hounddog Ball, a charity event in aid of MADRA, dog rescue and adoption, takes place this month.
The event, which will be held in The Salthill Hotel on Sunday September 25 at 7pm, will be a 1950s rockabilly themed ball. Period and themed dress is not essential, but is highly encouraged. Galway rockabilly band, The Screaming Bluecats, will take to the stage at 8pm. There will be a King and Queen of the Ball competition, and a raffle with prizes.
