Galway Corinthians Mini Rugby new season starts on Saturday with registration day in the clubhouse from 10am to 12 noon.
The Mini section, sponsored by Paul Gill and the Claregalway Hotel, continues to blossom with some 300 youngsters and 30 coaches taking to the pitches every Saturday morning at 10am. The aim of the mini coaches is to create an environment centred on a fun culture where it develops the rugby skills and aid the physical and emotional well being of the children.
Fun and enjoyment are the key part of the environment and friendships are nurtured that can endure a lifetime.
With the biggest underage structure in Connacht, the club has plans to develop more playing areas to facilitate its burgeoning young talent.
