Ivy Nations to play Monroe's Live

"IVY NATIONS are absolutely a band to watch. This synthy-rock is exactly what you want in your life..." so said JOE.ie about the quartet that will be playing Electric Picnic this weekend and Monroe’s Live on Friday September 30.

Ivy Nations, whose music mixes dance, indie, and rock, saw their debut single, 'The Mile Road', reach No 3 on the HypeM Twitter chart. Second single, 'You Are The Centre of Me' premiered on BitCandy in December, receiving national airplay in Ireland, Australia, and the USA. They have also supported Kodaline.

JOE.ie also said of them: "If you can keep your foot from stamping along with the rhythm section then you have a medically unsafe level of control over your muscles and you should get that checked out."

Doors are at 8.30pm. Tickets €8/5 via www.monroes.ie
