A milestone wedding anniversary: Mrs Mary Lohan, a resident at Áras Mhuire Community Nursing Unit in Tuam, recently celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary with her husband Patrick, who already celebrated being 100 years young earlier this year.
The staff at Áras Mhuire organised a Mass and small celebration at the nursing unit located on the Dublin Road to mark this prestigious occasion.
Their milestone anniversary was celebrated in the company of their family, friends and staff at Áras Mhuire. Fr Pat Farragher officiated at their special mass.
Speaking at the celebration, Caroline Coen, person in charge at Áras Mhuire CNU, said: “We are honoured to facilitate this platinum anniversary party for Mary and Patrick and on behalf of the staff, I sincerely wish them both continuing health and happiness.”
