New home care provider enters Galway market

Home care provider Right at Home has opened its first office in Galway.

Franchisee Natalie Crowe, previously a care manager with experience in working with and assisting both elderly people and people with a disability, has opened its office in Mulvey Park to provide home care services for older people and adults with a disability in Galway city and county, and in the surrounding areas of Mayo and Roscommon.

Founded in 1995 in the USA by Allen Hager, and brought to Ireland in 2013 by David McKone, Right at Home offers in-home companion and personal care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults who want to continue to live independently.

Ms Crowe, who holds a BA in social care from NUIG and a diploma in legal studies, says she made the decision to open the Right at Home office in Galway because she is passionate about providing quality care to those who wish to live independently despite old age and/or a disability.

“I am delighted to be the first Right at Home franchisee in Ireland. We are currently recruiting for a range of roles in the care delivery area for clients in all parts of Galway, Roscommon and Mayo, and I look forward to growing the business in the coming months and years. We want to be the best care provider in the area and with the backing of Right at Home International, we will be.”

The launch of Right at Home in Galway follows the company’s success at the Irish Franchise Awards earlier this year when it won the category of Best Pilot Franchise System. Right at Home also has ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.

Right at Home is a global home care franchise organisation with its head office in Omaha, Nebraska. It has more than 500 franchise offices located in eight countries, including UK, Australia, Netherlands and Ireland.
