Celtic Legends to play Galway on St Patrick's Day

In a match that will thrill football fans, the legends of Celtic FC will play for the first time in Ireland when they face Galway United on St Patrick’s Day at Terryland Park.

Match promoters Grow Sport Ltd said they were very excited to bring the Celtic Legends v Galway Utd fixture to Galway on St Patrick’s Day.

“Myself and the rest of the lads are looking forward to coming over to Galway on St Patrick’s Day to play the Galway United XI,” said Frank McAvennie of Celtic Legends. “We have always had brilliant support in Ireland and it’s great to come over and see the fans.”

With names like Sutton, Mjällby, Boyd, and Blinker set to play this will be a game not to be missed.

This family day out will offer more than just a football match; with face painting, fancy dress competition, penalty kick competition and spot prizes throughout the day including a chance to meet the players, there will be plenty to keep the kids entertained.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased directly from Terryland Park, Ticketmaster.ie and all usual outlets.
