Combination Cooking — a nutritional approach

Helen Finn is a qualified nutritional therapist, practitioner of functional medicine, and a nutritional chef.

You are what you eat, what your body can successfully digest, and readily absorb.

Last week we took a look at how well a nutritiously balanced diet can impact on overall health, outlining the body's capacity to regenerates itself approximately every 11 to 15 years, while highlighting the fact that “you cannot fix your health until you fix your diet”. It is important to understand that our genes play a huge part in our overall susceptibility to chronic disease, with over 90 per cent of our genes being governed by environmental and biological factors such as diet, toxin exposure, age, renal and liver function, etc. This is why both diet and lifestyle have a huge impact on overall health and wellbeing.

While I’m sure this is not a new concept to many, it is an empowering one that allows the individual to take control of, or at least influence, future health goals now. Join us for our next four week nutritional event, where we take a step-by-step approach in guiding you how to make changes to all aspects of your diet and aiding digestion, energy levels, balance cravings, supporting cardiovascular health, hormone health, anti inflammatory diets, and much more, starting next Tuesday August 23 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and running for four consecutive Tuesdays.

The four week programme is €45 per person, or €15pp per drop in. For more information call or email Helen Finn on 085 7594601 email [email protected], or see www.combinationcooking.ie
