Damo and Ivor's Tom O'Mahony to play Monroe’s Laughter Gaff

Ireland's only mixed-martial arts fighter turned stand-up comic

DAMO AND Ivor star, Tom ‘Bear’ O’Mahony, a regular on RTÉ's Republic of Telly and Irish Pictorial Weekly, and FM's Breakfast Republic, headlines at Monroe’s Laughter Gaff this Sunday at 8pm.

An ex-MMA fighter turned comedian, Tom’s first show at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe, Endangered Species, was a sell-out. He has since made the finals of RTÉ’s National New Comedian, and supported Nina Conti, Michael Winslow, Abandonman, Neil Delamare, and Tommy Tiernan, and played the Vodafone Comedy Festival, Forbidden Fruit, and Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival.

Support is from Shane Cunningham, with open slots from Snapchat sensations Gavin Brady, Julie Johnson, and Stephen Murphy. Tickets are €5. See www.monroes.ie
