CREATIVE WRITING classes with the poet and short story writer Susan Millar DuMars, suitable for beginner and continuing creative writing students, take place in the Galway Arts Centre next month.
The classes are suitable for those working in either poetry or fiction. Classes take place on Mondays, 2.30pm to 4pm, starting September 19, and running for 10 weeks.
Susan is the author of the poetry collections, Big Pink Umbrella (2008 ), Dreams For Breakfast (2010 ), The God Thing (2013 ), and Bone Fire (2016 ), and the short story collection, Lights In The Distance (2010 ). She is also co-organiser of the Over The Edge reading series in the Galway City Library.
