THE BALLAGHS, a "captivating catharsis of fiddle, voice and feet", are a Canadian family band who play traditional north American music, soulful ballads, enticing originals, all with a sprinkle of humour.
The Ballaghs are a father who is an award winning barbershop quartet singer; the mother is an internationally recognized step dancing champion and singer; and their children sing, play fiddle, drums, guitar, piano, and perform. They have been touring Canada and the United States for the last decade, and have won praise for their energetic and up-beat live shows, vocal harmonies, and family dynamics.
The Ballaghs play Monroe’s Live on Thursday August 25 at 8pm. Tickets are €10/7 via www.monroes.ie
