Superfoods for super energy levels

Just take a look at Evergreen's recipe for raw energy bars with added superfoods. This amazing recipe contains three of the most popular superfoods. It only takes 20 minutes to make eight delicious energy bars which are packed full of superfood goodness.

Raw energy bars with superfood goodness

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups Evergreen pitted dates

1/3 cup True Natural Goodness cacao powder

1/3 cup Chia Bia whole chia seeds

1/3 cup True Natural Goodness goji berries

½ tsp vanilla extract (optional )

1 cup Evergreen flaked almonds

Method:

Puree the dates in a food processor until a thick paste forms. Add the cocoa powder, chia seeds, goji berries, and vanilla extract and pulse until all the ingredients are combined.

Add the almonds and pulse.

Spread the mixture into a 2cm thick rectangle on a large sheet of wax paper.

Wrap tightly and refrigerate overnight.

Cut into eight bars and rewrap in wax paper.
