MARY COUGHLAN, Declan O'Rourke, and Mick Flannery are among the leading singers and musicians who will play the forthcoming Inishbofin Concert series, which is now celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Ireland’s premiere jazz and folk singer, Mary Coughlan, plays on August 2; followed on August 9 by the award-winning singer-songwriter Declan O’Rourke, whose songs have been covered by Josh Groban, and who has won the praise of Paul Weller. August 16 sees the great Mick Flannery make his second appearance at the Inishbofin Concerts. A singer-songwriter, and stonemason, he is currently working on his next album.
Rounding up the series on August 23 will be internationally renowned fiddle player Nollaig Casey, joined by guitarist Arty McGlynn, bouzouki player Alec Finn, uilleann piper Cian Talty, and singer/guitarist Geraldine King, the founder and organiser of the island's concert series.
