THE MAKERS of a new short film, Aftermath, are calling for last minute funding pledges, donations, and business sponsorship, ahead of their fundraising deadline of tomorrow.
Aftermath is a collaboration between parties in Galway and Limerick, and it will be directed by Nigel O'Brien, who's film, The Last Man, was screened as part of the Galway Film Fleadh. The story originated from Limerickman Brian O'Regan and with the help of his friends he got the script to Babyjane Productions.
"We would really appreciate donations, business sponsorship and any help that will highlight our cause," said Emma Owen of Babyjane Productions. "We are out there flying the flag for Galway. Nigel is a great ambassador for Galway's film scene and a very focused and driven self-starter. His ability to deliver passionate, intricate, narratives, laced with dry humour, alongside his audaciousness and innovation, are both provocative and new; he deserves to be among the best."
