Following their impressive win over Roscommon in Kiltoom in the Connacht semi-final, the Galway minors will take on Mayo this Sunday in the Connacht final at 12 noon in the curtain raiser to the senior final at Pearse Stadium.
Stephen Joyce and his management team will be hoping to add another provincial title to the one collected last season and to go on a run in the All-Ireland series.
Galway's centre-forward Evan Murphy is a highly rated player and had a fine game against Roscommon, and full-back Sean Mulkerrin is also one to keep an eye on this Sunday.
Hopefully the Galway supporters attending will make a special effort to get in to the stadium early and add their support to the minors' bid for a provincial title.
