AHEAD OF his biggest tour yet, the brilliant, the outrageous, the magnificent Al Porter, the Vicar Street and Cork Opera House sell-out star, returns to Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh to preview his newest stories.
Al Porter plays the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow at 8.30pm with a show entitled Work in Progress. He has appeared on BBC’s Live at the Apollo and Late Licence, and RTE’s Late Late Show and The Al Porter Show.
This intimate gig is a must see, a chance to catch Al up close and personal, stripped back (not bare! ) and at his most naturally funny while road testing new material. No band or fancy curtain here – just a camp bloke, a stool, some notes, plenty of ribald tales, double-entendres, and a lot of laughs.
Support is from Joanne McNally, the new co-host of RTE’s Republic Of Telly. The MC is Steve Bennett. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
