In today’s business world, many companies require additional office skills from prospective employees. A working knowledge of the Irish payroll system is an excellent skill to add to one’s curriculum vitae.
GPA Solutions is delivering a manual and computerised payroll award, which is certified by QQI level five. Learners who successfully complete this course will have a thorough knowledge of basic PAYE computations to include the cumulative, week one and emergency tax basis.
Participants will learn and understand PRSI and USC computations, how to deal with starters and leavers, file revenue forms, and year end procedures.
This course is delivered through lectures, case studies, and assignments. Successful participants will be awarded a component QQI manual and computerised payroll level five award.
The course commences on June 29 2016 in Galway and will run for one day per week for four weeks. Fully funded places are available for eligible jobseekers.
