THE ORIGINAL Soulboys v Rudeboys night returns to the Róisín Dubh this Saturday for hot, sweaty, dancefloor action with some of the best original vinyl DJs in Ireland.
While Mods and sixties Skinheads would listen to soul, ska, and reggae in equal measures, it was rare in Galway to hear all these genres in one night. SB v RB was the answer, and the night has now been running for six years.
Spinning the very best in black music on Saturday will be Dave Barry (Shuffle! ), Loic Herrou (Paris ) and Shane Walsh (Phever FM, Dublin ), along with Andrew Flynn (Rhythm N Booze, Limerick ) and Bill Kealy (For Dancers Only 60s R&B Club, Dublin ).
Soulboys v Rudeboys is in the Róisín's upstairs bar. Doors are 9.30pm. Admission is free.
