Donegal trio to play Galway International Arts Festival show at Monroe's Live

THE HENRY Girls - Donegal sisters Karen, Lorna, and Joleen McLaughlin - make their annual summer visit to Galway city to play a concert as part of this year's Galway International Arts Festival.

The sisters' music and vocal harmony singing style mixes Americana, bluegrass, blues, and Irish folk and trad. Songlines magazine has praised their "graceful harmonies, charming vocals, and elegant musicianship"; while their albums, such as Louder Than Words (2014 ), has been called "absolutely gorgeous" by BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris; while December Moon (2011 ) was describede as having "high buoyant vocal harmonies and ebullient instrumental attack make for stellar moments aplenty" by fRoots magazine.

The Henry Girls play Monroe’s Live on Thursday July 21 at 8pm. Tickets are €18/15. See www.giaf.ie
