Well-known auctioneer Matthews of Oldcastle will hold its annual no reserve auction this Sunday at 12 noon at the historic Mill buildings of Slane, Co Meath. All entries, cleared from various properties in Meath and Dublin during the past year, have been removed to the old Transport Museum buildings and will be sold without reserve.
Perfect for collectors on a budget, landlords, and business owners, the entries comprise antiques, modern and contemporary items, as well as various collectables and oddities. "This really is an auction for everyone and a perfect opportunity for anyone furnishing an old or new property," said Mr Matthews. "With over 1,000 lots, we expect the auction to offer plenty of value and welcome old and new buyers alike."
The auction commences 12 noon sharp and the lots will be on public view from tomorrow (Friday ). While every effort will be made to have all the lots illustrated online at www.matthewsauctionrooms.com some may not, so viewing in person is recommended.
