Maldron Hotel, Oranmore, Galway, has opened the doors on its new restaurant Grain & Grill, a stylish and relaxed eatery perfect for a breakfast meeting, a lunch time catch up with friends, or a leisurely weekend dinner. The man at the helm is head chef Julian Bradfield, who has recently joined the team from the Maldron Hotel Sandy Road (formerly Pillo Hotel Galway ).
Having worked as head chef in many of Galway’s best known hotels, including, in addition to Maldron Sandy Road, The House Hotel, The Claregalway Hotel, and Loughrea Hotel & Spa, Bradfield knows how to get it right. His philosophy surrounds simple, good quality, food offered at a good price and served in a relaxing atmosphere. The focus for Grain & Grill will be on preparing and cooking food in a way that allows each of the ingredients to shine. This is achieved through working with really great local suppliers, such as Mary’s Fish, people who know their product and take pride in it.
All tastes and requirements are catered for at Grain & Grill, with taste and quality paramount. A carefully curated carvery is served daily from 12.30pm, this the most popular meal of the day for people working in the surrounding area and with so many options from hot carvery dishes, to gourmet sandwiches, to fresh salads, everyone can leave satisfied and revived.
Julian Bradfield’s latest culinary success is definitely worth a try. For more information call 091 792244 or email [email protected].
