FEBRUARY & MARS, the Galway duo of Jack Considine and Carl Ramberg, whose hazy, synth-rock/disco sound has been turning heads, launch their debut album tomorrow.
The duo will launch February & Mars with a gig in the Róisín Dubh, Friday May 27, at 11pm. Considine and Ramberg will be joined by percussionist Alan Primes and guitarist Paul Clarke, with special guests DJ/producer John Daly, Berlin DJ Don Williams, and Noid The Droid.
Nialler 9 made February & Mars his Album of The Week in The Irish Times, describing it as "danceable, dreamy, detailed and discerning"; RnaG's Cian Ó Cíobháin said "it sounds like an instant classic and is likely to stand the test of time"; while Donal Dineen hailed it as "one of the most impressive debuts of this or any other year".
Admission is €5.
