DevOps (development and operations ) is the term used to describe a type of agile relationship between Development and IT Operations. The goal of DevOps is to establishing a culture and environment where building, testing, and releasing software, can happen quickly, frequently, and more reliably.
In this session, Storm will demo how to automate most of the heavy lifting within testing and deployment when building software using Visual Studio and Azure. This demo will showcase how DevOps can automate a number of processes that when done manually can be a time drain.
Instead DevOps enables the project team to focus on the overall software itself and building a repeatable system to enable quicker cycles and releases.
