Gort Ard’s interactive language camps in June are a blend of language teaching and activities, together with French students attending a parallel English language course. The camps are a real French adventure without the expense of going to France.
Students can attend on a weekly basis, though two weeks is highly recommended.
For students who live outside Galway there is a very attractive and economic residential option. These interaction camps are an exciting and really enjoyable way of making progress in French. With separate language classes in the mornings and joint activities in the afternoons and evenings, the day is full with a variety of activities and experiences. Sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis and there are lots of outward bound and adventure activities.
Getting to know French students of the same age is a great help in getting a real feel for their language and culture. And friendships are made that continue afterwards.
Camps will start on Monday June 6 this year, and they run weekly until Friday July 1. They start at 10am and end at 4.30pm.
