GPA Solutions is offering a range of QQI Level 5 business awards catering for learners wishing to advance their business skills or for those who simply wish to gain an introduction to bookkeeping procedures.
A qualification in bookkeeping and a working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software is an excellent skill to add to one's CV and provides additional office skills for prospective employers.
Learners who successfully complete this course will experience setting up a company, entering source documents in the various day books, and preparing debtors' and creditors' balances and reports. Learners will learn to produce VAT reports, bank reconciliation, and monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports.
This course is delivered through lectures, case studies, and assignments. Online support is also provided to all learners. Successful participants will be awarded a component QQI manual and computerised bookkeeping Level 5 award. This course will next commence on June 7 in Galway and will run for one day per week for five weeks. Fully funded places are available for eligible jobseekers.
