The most common symptoms of uterine fibroids are abdominal pain, decreased period cycle days, heavier menstrual bleeding, increased discharge, dropping down sensation of hard object in the stomach, and even frequent urination due to the bladder being pressed by the womb.
The elimination of fibroids is connected with the liver function, according to traditional Chinese medicine theory. For example the liver regulates blood flow, nourishing the acupuncture channels running through the body. This liver blood also acts as a generating source of menstrual blood. The uterine fibroid is actually a symptom of Qi and blood stagnation occurring in the womb.
