Trading Faces Film School & Casting Agency

Are you between six and 17 years old? Would you like to act in a film? If your answer is yes, then this is the course for you.

Using cameras and scripts, students at Trading Faces Stage School perform to camera making their own films. These shorts will then be entered into film festivals. Love At First Sight was the winner of Galway Junior Film Fleadh 2012, while Words came second place in Fresh Film Festival 2013.

This course offers participants the opportunity to experience the business of acting on film from both in front of and behind the camera.

Have you ever wondered how auditions work? Trading Faces' audition programme tackles auditions in a fun way with lots improvisations and acting exercises. You will also get to meet Gillian Reynolds, the renowned casting director. The programme is great fun and students always rave about it.

The Trading Faces Casting Agency has been hugely successful over the last 15 years, placing young performers in many television shows, feature films, animation movies, and commercials, including Moone Boy (Sky ), Deception (TV3 ), Jack Taylor (TV3 ), My Phone Genie (BBC ), The Late Late Show (RTE ), The Secret of Kells (cinema - Oscar nominee ), The Ugly Duckling and Me (cinema ), Niko and the Way to the Stars (cinema ), Chloe's Closet (BBC ), and Pillowman, Ballyturk, and Brigit by DruidMurphy.

The agency photo shoot will take place during the course.
