Two All Ireland doubles titles

Galway handballers claimed two All Ireland titles at the weekend when the adult doubles finals took centre stage across Leinster venues.

Sinead Ní Ainlí and Ciana Ní Churraoin had a convincing 21-2, 21-2 win against their Clare counterparts to win the ladies' intermediate crown, while Jimmy Connaughton and Martin Ward produced a great performance over a strong Westmeath pairing to take home another title, winning 21-8, 21-18

In Ruby Masters (65+ ), two Moycullen pairings were in action - Morgan Darcy and John Keleghan had to retire early due to a hand injury, while Denis Phelan and Brendan McNeela were beaten in a tie-breaker 10-21, 21-16, 21-2, against a strong Wexford pair.
