Rising Irish stars @ Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh

Donal Vaughan, Ger Staunton, Danny Ryan, and Aine Gallagher

THE VERY best young Irish comedians from the Róisín Dubh's Tuesday night Comedy showcase, will strut their comedic stuff on the stage of the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow from 8.30pm.

This is a chance to see promising new comic talents Donal Vaughan, Ger Staunton, Danny Ryan, and Aine Gallagher, before they go on the TV and get too big for a small room.

Donal Vaughan is the winner of the 2015 Laughing Horse Comedian award and the 2014 Tedfest Toilet Duck Award 2014. Danny Ryan was the 2015 Show Me The Funny winner 2015, for his mix of dark storytelling and clever one-liners. Aine Gallagher is the 2014 Funny Women runner-up and one of the best Gaeilgeoir comedians in the country. Her show, Jane’s Next Step, is an offbeat masterpiece of awkward Irish teacher humour. Ger Staunton's meticulously crafted material is delivered in a playful, tongue-in-cheek, style.

The MC will be Steve Bennett. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.

Steve Bennett talks to Kernan Andrews about what's coming up at the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh in this week's Advertiser podcast. Have a listen at https://soundcloud.com/advertiserpodcasts
