The GRETB Training Centre, Mervue Business Park, Galway, is running a welding (MMA and oxy-acetylene ) flat and horizontal welding course starting April 25. This is a nine week full time day course to upskill trainees to the first level of flat and horizontal welding.
The course provides participants with the skills, knowledge, and competence to enable them to use manual metal arc welding and oxy-acetylene equipment safely and correctly. In the dedicated training facility each trainee is allocated his/her own work bay, fully equipped with the latest welding equipment. Instructors at the GRETB Training Centre have many years' experience in real world industrial workplaces. They have the qualifications and experience to teach the most up to date welding techniques. The course also offers jobseekers the opportunity to update their curriculum vitae and to practice and review their interview and job seeking skills as well as manual handling and SafePass.
On completion of the course trainees will receive certification in oxy-acetylene weld and MMA fillet weld.
