Explore Galway Bay and the Aran Islands with Atlantic Way Sailing

If you want to enjoy a memorable experience why not get on down to the Galway Harbour and hop on board Ireland's largest passenger sailing yacht, the Atlantic Blue.

Let the crew aboard this 53' yacht help you celebrate that special birthday or event. See what passengers say about Atlantic Way Sailing on Facebook or TripAdvisor — "Brillliant experience"; "Best way to see Galway"; "Highlight of our Ireland trip".

Enjoy a three hour cruise around Galway Bay starting and finishing at the Docks. Get to see Galway city from a perspective rarely seen by locals or visitors. The cruise is priced very reasonably at €50 per person, and with a capacity of 12 you have the option of an individual or group booking. The cruise takes the yacht past Mutton Island and westwards along the Salthill shoreline to Silverstrand and on to Barna. No sailing experience is necessary, however, if you wish to participate in sailing the yacht you will be very welcome. Weatherproof gear and light refreshments are provided at no extra cost.

During the season, day trips to Aran are also scheduled, leaving from and returning to the new marina at Rossaveal. This is a great opportunity to sail into the outer bay, along the Connemara coast, and out to the islands. At a cost of €100 per person you can enjoy a three hour cruise to Inishmore with the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher as a backdrop. After exploring the island for a couple of hours then set sail for the return journey, when you can enjoy the full glory of the Twelve Bens.

For the more adventurous Atlantic Way Sailing also offers overnight trips to the Aran Islands where passengers can enjoy the generously proportioned sleeping quarters on board the yacht and explore the islands by day.
