COPE Galway is teaming up with Briarhill pharmacy tomorrow April 1, to promote its award-winning Meals on Wheels service.
Staff from Community Catering Meals on Wheels will be at the pharmacy from 9.30am to 2.30pm to arrange samples of meals and to answer any questions about the service.
Community Catering produces a range of nutritious meals at their facility in Ballybane using fresh quality ingredients. Customers can chose to have a meal as often as they like (up to seven days a week ), and can go on and off the service as they wish.
Some customers order meals following a hospital stay or period of illness and use the service until they are well enough to cook for themselves again. The service is flexible and customer-focused and meals can be tailored to suit many dietary requirements. The service was a recent joint-winner of a national EIQA quality award for Hygiene and Food Safety.
