Rugby stars to dance-off for charity

George Naoupu, Bundee Aki and Rodney Ah You to show off their dance moves

Connacht Rugby stars George Naoupu, Bundee Aki and Rodney Ah You will be showing off their dance moves at tomorrow's Fit For Charity event, which will be raising funds for five local charities.

Fit For Charity is a massive group fitness class, taking place in Leisureland tomorrow [Wednesday March 30] at 8pm, combining exercises from the Senshaper 3.1, Senshaper Elite, Senshaper Flow, and Senshaper Dance programmes, the last featuring Naoupu, Aki and Ah You. The event will raise funds for ACT for Meningitis, COPE Galway Charity Shop, Irish Heart Foundation, Self Help Africa, and Special Olympics Connacht.

Event organiser and Irish Rugby international Sene Naoupu is calling out all local sports teams, community groups, families and friends to go along and support the local charities and the event. “No one has ever become poor from giving," said Sene. "A small token makes a huge difference and gives hope to those who are less fortunate. So raise your game and raise some funds."

Adult tickets are €15 and children are €5 with the class starting at 8p. Doors open at 7.30pm. To book contact Sandra on 087 - 092550 or email [email protected].
