KEVIN MCGAHERN, the star of RTE’s Republic of Telly, and described as a "Gas bastard" by The Rubberbandits, hits the stage of the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh on Friday March 18 at 8.30pm.
His surrealist, and observational humour, perfectly has won praise. Totally Dublin has called his comedy "sharply written, brilliantly performed". McGahern first came to national attention playing the role of 'Sim Card' on Hardy Bucks. Since then he has hosted Republic of Telly and Fast & Furious. McGahern is also known for his Youtube hits: Felix Bollard: A Serious Man, one of the best reactions to homophobia on the internet, and 'The Man who Slipped on the Ice’ one of the best reactions to an Irish person slipping on ice on the internet.
Support is from Cork's Alan Hurley. The MC is Steve Bennett. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, and Róisín Dubh.
