Local companies can now avail of tailor-made English classes for their employees with Speakeasy English.
Speakeasy English is a small English language school situated in the heart of Galway. Established in 2007 by Órla Garahy, this cosy learning environment has, in its short existence, hosted students from all walks of life and all corners of the globe.
A native of Co Wexford, Ms Garahy is an internationally qualified EFL teacher, and has travelled throughout Asia and Europe, teaching in various places along the way, eventually returning to Ireland and settling in Galway.
The school offers a range of classes, including all levels of general English, business English, and private lessons. These classes are open to the public and all ages and levels are welcome.
As well as the timetabled classes, which take place in the school, Speakeasy has recently started offering language packages to businesses all over the country. These classes involve the teacher going directly to firms and working closely with employers to define the exact language their employees need for their work. A course is then created that is specific to each individual firm’s requirements.
