GALWAY TEENS interested in learning how to create animated films should check out the Galway Film Centre's Easter Animation Camp, which will be held in GMIT Cluain Mhuire, Wellpark Road.
The camps, which will be led by Denise McDonagh and Shane Reid, run from March 21 to 24 from 10am and 3.30pm. Participants will, through paper, drawing, and clay, create characters and sets, and transform them into moving images and learn to animate with a iPad! At the end of the course, participants will receive a DVD with their finished animation. The resulting animations will be submitted to the Galway Junior Film Fleadh and the Limerick Fresh Film Festival.
