UNTIL APRIL, the Dublin/Galway indie-electro trio, launch their debut single ‘Wanna be Yours’, when they play The Loft at Seven, Bridge Street, tomorrow at 9pm.
This "music meets art" band are David Owens (vocals ), Alan Walsh (drums ), and Finbar247 (visual artist ), who The Irish Times said is "known to some as Galway’s Banksy and is one of several graffiti artists who have enlivened city streetscapes”.
The band combine music with live art in their stage shows, andn have already played Whelan's and The Workman's Club. "I guess we've done well so far because we're just so different to other acts” says David Owens.
Adds Alan Walsh: “The band started as an experiment in November. We wanted to see how far we could get in the space of six months, and decided to name the band after that goal. We are already really proud of what we have accomplished as a group."
