Crêpes and swords in the museum for Valentine’s Day

An unusual mix of Breton and French food with medieval weaponry will dominate Valentine’s Day proceedings in Galway City Museum this Saturday.

The Galway/Lorient Committee will hold two crêpes making workshops. The first will be at 12 noon and the second at 2pm. The cost of the workshop is €5.

Leading medieval re-enactor David Swift will display some of the swords, shields, and armour that were used in medieval warfare from 3pm. Places for this workshop also cost €5.
