Chris Haze to headline charity gig @ Monroe's

RISING SINGER-songwriter Chris Haze will headline a charity concert at Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Friday March 18 at 8pm, to raise funds for injured jockey Brendan McDonagh.

Brendan, a 23-year-old from Moycullen, had his right foot amputated following a horrific motorcycling accident in September 2015. He also had his right arm paralysed and damaged his shoulder. The fundraiser is aimed at helping with medical and related expenses.

The night will kick off with covers band The Humble Superstars followed by Galway born, Dublin-based Chris Haze. Chris is a self taught guitarist who writes and performs his own material. He has played across Ireland and Britain, and supported Coolio and The Original Rudeboys. He released his debut single 'Over & Over' last May 31, which enjoyed airplay on TV3 and radio stations around Ireland. His latest single is 'Let Us Be Heroes', the video for which can be seen on YouTube.

Tickets are €10. See www.monroe.ie and www.chrishazemusic.com
