Big Fancy Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh

Colin Murphy to headline a night of laughter and craic

COLIN MUPRHY, one of Ireland's most consistently funny comics will headline the Big Fancy Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh - which takes place in the venue's downstairs live area - tomorrow [Friday February 26] at 8.30pm.

Colin is one man and a microphone - no props or gimmicks, just more laughs per minute than almost anyone else. He has been described as ‘an aggressive charmer’, he is best known for the years in which he fronted The Blizzard of Odd and helped make The Panel a huge success. Be prepared for the Belfast man to leave you weak with laughter, and begging for more.

Support is from Edwin Sammon, who is becoming a household name due to his role as Fr Gabriel in RTE’s latest sitcom Bridget and Eamon, and for being a regular guest on Republic of Telly. He is a Tedfest Golden Toilet Duck award winner (2011 ). In 2013 he was part of the sold out nationwide Lads Of Comedy tour.

The MC is Steve Bennett. Tickets are €10 in advance from Róisín Dubh, OMG Shop Street, and roisindubh.net
