O’Donnellan & Joyce joins forces with major UK property website Zoopla

O’Donnellan & Joyce has linked up with major UK property website Zoopla, which will now give the Wild Atlantic Way property auction major exposure with a further 40 million viewers online.

Siobhra Hennessy, marketing manager at O’Donnellan & Joyce, said: “This is a major link up that will bring all our auction property into direct contact with the vast UK market. We have had a large number of enquiries from buyers overseas in recent years, but this partnership with Zoopla will increase the exposure of O’Donnellan & Joyce’s auction, where the UK will come to Galway."

Zoopla is regarded as the UK’s most comprehensive property website. Launched in 2008, it now attracts more than 40 million visits per month and has garnered numerous awards and accolades along the way, including being named one of the Top 10 UK Tech Companies (Guardian ) and one of the Top 10 Most Innovative UK Companies (Smarta ).

Both O’Donnellan & Joyce and Zoopla are supporters of transparency and everything they do is aimed at making the property market more resourceful for both property purchasers and sellers alike.

Sterling is strong against the euro, and Irish ex-pats, among other investors in mainland UK, are still finding value for money in Irish property. Galway witnessed rapid growth of approximately 29 per cent in property sales in the first nine months of 2015, with the trend set to continue in 2016, and the auction team O’Donnellan & Joyce are excited to be able to extend their reach by marketing their list of property with Zoopla.

This major new connection is anticipated to bring new interested parties and new bidders from overseas to O’Donnellan & Joyce’s Wild Atlantic Way property auction, with properties for sale from Donegal to Kerry but dominated by Galway city where there are a large number of private houses and investments on offer at exceptional value. This combination of the connection to Zoopla, along with the live online streaming of the auctions by Brandt Studios, allows clients from overseas to access the full details of the properties. They will also be able to watch the property auction live and be able to bid from overseas, either online or by phone.

O’Donnellan & Joyce’s next property auction will take place on Friday March 4 at The Harbour Hotel, Galway, at 2pm with live online streaming available on www.odonnjoyce.com
