Clare Quinn to perform in Carnegie Hall

RENMORE'S CLARE Celine Quinn will make her New York debut in Carnegie Hall when she performs 'Parla Piu Piano', from the soundtrack to the film The Godfather, on Easter Sunday, March 27.

The 15-year-old's appearance at the prestigious venue comes following her being awarded a first place and Judge’s Distinction Award in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. "It is such a wonderful opportunity for me to perform on such an iconic stage as Carnegie Hall and I am really looking forward to it,” she said. Family and friends will be making the trip to New York to watch Clare perform.

A pupil at Dominican College, Taylor's Hill, she came to prominence after winning The All Ireland Schools Talent Show last year, and appearing on The Late Late Show, which led presenter Ryan Tubridy to comment, “this girl will be a big name in years to come”. More recently, Clare has performed for President Michael D Higgins in Áras an Uachtarain.
