Savage Eye's John Colleary to headline the night

JOHN COLLEARY, a star and co-writer of three times IFTA nominated The Savage Eye, and regarded as one of Ireland’s best comedic wits, plays the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh, tomorrow [Friday February 5] at 8.30pm.

As well as The Savage Eye, Sligoman John is the writer/performer of the popular 'Last Orders' slot on TodayFM’s The Last Word. He has appeared on Stand and Deliver and The Panel, and was voted among the Top 10 comedians in Europe by Bail Out magazine. The Weekender has praised his "cheeky wit" and his reducing audiences to "tear-inducing laughter".

Support is from Jim Elliot. He has opened for Reginald D Hunter, Andrew Maxwell, and Seann Walsh. There will also be a special guest set from Emma Doran, winner of the Ha’penny Comedy Competition 2014. She has appeared on The Al Porter Show and Republic of Telly.
