ROAD WIVES, the new electro-pop project from Jack Quinn, and Dublin pop/alternative band The Optimists, play The Loft at Seven, for separate shows over the coming days.
Road Wives play this evening, alongside DJ Graham Dolan. Jack Quinn cut his teeth in the club and live scenes in Dublin, France, Spain, and the US. In 2015 he released his debut record 'This', where he played on all instruments. The song enjoyed airplay on Today FM recently. Check it out on Soundcloud.
The Optimists play on Saturday, as part of a tour promoting their new single, ‘Nobody’s Watching’. Made up of six students from the British and Irish Modern Music Institute, their influences include Years and Years, Foals, and Biffy Clyro. UCD’s College Tribune described them as “passionate and extremely focused” and “unsurprisingly optimist”.
Admission is free to both gigs.
