Colaiste Chroí Mhuire, An Spidéal, now enrolling for September 2016

Located on the stunning coastline of Galway Bay, Coláiste Chroí Mhuire is a Gaeltacht school which welcomes students from Galway, Barna, Furbo, Spiddal, Inverin, Moycullen, and further afield. This highly academic, all-Irish school provides a wide range of subjects and extra-curricular activities in an atmosphere that is safe, positive, and friendly.

CCM subjects to Leaving Cert include chemistry, physics, biology, business, accounting, history, geography, design and communication graphics, construction, art, music, and home economics, as well as Irish, English, French, and maths.

The optional transition year and Leaving Certificate Vocational programmes are popular with students, and are widely acknowledged as being of significant help to students as they complete their second level education.

Coláiste Chroí Mhuire regulary features among the top schools in the country which send students to third level colleges. In 2015 Colaiste Chroí Mhuire was reported in the national media as sending 100 per cent of its Leaving Cert cohort to third level.

As well as subject-based tours, competitions, and activities, students compete in events as varied as enterprise, debating, creative writing, art and music competitions, Lego Robotics, and the annual school concert.
