Production management and basics of supply chain management courses

If you want to work in manufacturing or are currently in a production or inventory management role then you should consider the internationally recognised APICS Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM ). The course runs in Western Management Centre Galway, an approved APICS education provider. Over the last 20 years hundreds of students have achieved their certification and can now use the designate CPIM after their name.

The CPIM programme is recognised worldwide as the standard of professional competence in production and inventory control and supply chain management. It provides candidates with the ability to understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within a company. CPIM education is essential if you are involved in production and inventory management, operations, supply chain management, procurement, materials management, or purchasing. The programme is also of benefit to participants outside these departments as it provides an overall understanding of how organisations function. It is therefore of relevance to process engineers, financial analysts, customer service personnel, or anyone involved in the supply chain.

The full course consists of five modules and Western Management Centre is running two modules this term. These are Basics of Supply Chain Management and Execution and Control of Operations. Classes are starting soon and prior registration is essential.
