Beechmount Art Studio is back with a bang in 2016 with a huge range of art classes for the spring term and an expansion of its hugely popular cocktail and painting nights.
The award winning Lackagh-based art studio caters for every type of artist with weekly oil, acrylic, and watercolour classes, and a new nine week drawing course with the super talented local artist Kathy Ross. Beechmount Art Studio also runs three children's art classes a week and a teens' class to ensure the youngest artists continue their creativity.
Founder of Beechmount Art Studio, Aisling Kearney Burke, is also very proud of the latest artistic expansion of Paintclub, the studio's cocktail and painting nights which are now being held monthly in the stylish surroundings of 56 Central on Shop Street. "Our main aim when founding the studio was to provide a positive and inclusive environment where everyone, no matter their age or ability, is welcome," she said. "We want everyone to feel like they can create with confidence, whether that’s in the studio or a pub or restaurant, the most important thing is that people are engaging with their creativity and we’re helping them do that, helping them to unleash their inner artist."
Spring term starts the week of January 25 with registration opening for all classes on Saturday January 16 at 10am.
Beechmount Art Studio will host an open studio on Saturday January 16 from 10am to 2pm for everyone to go along and experience the studio, chat to the instructors, and register for the spring term. For more information see www.beechmountartstudio.com
