Corinthians return to Cloonacauneen where they entertain Naas on Saturday (2.30pm ) in the Ulster Bank League division 2A.
The city side will be hoping to arrest a desperate run of results that continued into the New Year when they were outgunned by UCC in Cork last weekend.
The home side were on the scoreboard after three minutes of play when fullback Chris McAuliffe touched down out wide.
That was followed by loose head Charlie Slowey scrambling in for their second touch down after poor defence by the visitors, and winger Kevin O'Keeffe slotted the conversion. The same player secured their third try in the 15th minute, which he again converted.
Corinthians bagged their only score some minutes later when outhalf Philip Noone struck a fine penalty, but that was as good as it got for the visitors as the students converted two more tries before the break.
The students maintained the momentum in the second half with centre Paul Kiernan adding two touch downs which O'Keeffe converted before he added a penalty for a 44-3 victory.
